Puffed Peanut Butter Millet Granola and Cereal

To me granola is such a overrated high calorie high carb high sugar item in the market. We're always searching for the perfect granola to top on yogurts, icecreams, or even just munch on and sneak a little handfuls at night .... admit it you do it too i'm sure we all get the cereal munchies at night but it's normal and we all need that satisfying carb reload every once in awhile. Why can't we just make our own granola and store it to use whenever we want? Stop searching and learn to integrate healthy fats that will help satiety us and make us full. TRUTH: Who said the granola we buy we can stop after 2 handfuls???? No we want more ! we want more of and less of sugar carbs and GUILT! I've put together a light airy granola with added fats and spices to boost your metabolism and keep you full till your next meal. So sprinkle it , munch on it with no guilt at all!

Ingredients:

2 Cups puffed Millet

1 1/2 tablespoon creamy peanut butter or you can use Powdered peanut butter for a less caloric deficit

1 tablespoon maple syrup

cinnamon

2 Tablespoons of a another healthy fat like chia or hemp seeds. I added a blend I bought from Trader Joe's called Chia, Hemp , quinoa , Amaranth omega blend.

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375f

1. In a bowl mix all ingredients with your hands. Trust me use your hands and incorporate well the peanut butter , maple syrup , blend of omegas and cinnamon.

2. Lay out and spread out the mixture on a parchment paper and bake for 8-10 minutes until desired crispiness. I like them medium well it gets really crunchy and awesome for cereal .
